Mario Balotelli's younger brother Enoch is having a trial with Stoke City that could yet see him facing the Manchester City striker in the English Premier League.

The 19-year-old, a forward like his older brother, played all but eight minutes of the Stoke reserves' goalless draw against Burton Albion on Wednesday.

"He's been with training with us for a while and it was good to give him a run out," Potters academy coach Dave Kevan told the Stoke Sentinel.

"He's a good boy but a little bit raw at the moment. We will just have to see how things go."

Enoch has been training with Stoke for the last three weeks and was linked with a move to Napoli earlier this year.
Born in Ghana, he moved to Italy with Mario where the duo were adopted.

There have been several examples of brothers playing in English football's top flight at the same time, notably 1966 England World Cup winning duo of Bobby and Jack Charlton, who starred for Manchester United and Leeds United respectively.

Currently, the Premier League features Rio and Anton Ferdinand (Manchester United and QPR) while Fabio da Silva and twin Rafael are both at Old Trafford.
